Eligible home buyers in Melbourne, Victoria, can now purchase a home with a deposit as low as 5%* without the need for Lenders Mortgage Insurance.

As of 1st July 2023, the Federal Government has expanded eligibility to include non-first home buyers who haven’t owned property in the past 10 years. Joint applications are also accepted, allowing you to apply with friends, siblings, or other family members.

$10K First Home Owner Grant* (FHOG) in Victoria

You may be eligible for a $10,000 First Home Owner Grant when you purchase or build your first new home in Melbourne, Victoria. Your first home, whether it’s a house, townhouse, or apartment, must be valued at $750,000 or less and be no more than five years old.

Regional First Home Buyer Guarantee VIC

The First Home Super Saver Scheme (FHSSS) assists Victorians in growing their savings for a first home by letting them accumulate a deposit within their superannuation.

The maximum amount of voluntary contributions has been raised to $50,000 (up from $30,000), helping first home buyers reach their home ownership goals more quickly.
